Twelve Lanterns

This bronze bas relief hangs on the entry gate in front of our house and my studio. I made it to document the inspiration of Isabella Stuart Gardner in 1911 to build this beautiful house in a style that is unusual in New England. A patron of the arts and a lover of Italy, Spain, and all the Mediterranean, she built it for a pianist, George Proctor. I feel privileged to be able to maintain this lovely structure with its beautiful arches and soaring tower.
